Use the Rule Index dropdown box to pick an empty rule.
Make up a name to put in the Application box. The name does not have any effect on the functionality of the forward, it's simply there so you can know why it was created.
Use the Protocol dropdown box to select the protocol type of the ports you are forwarding.
If you are forwarding a range of ports, enter the lowest number of the range into the Start Port Number and Start Port (Local) boxes. Then enter the highest number of the range into the End Port Number and End Port (Local) boxes. If you are forwarding a single port, enter that port number into the Start Port Number, End Port Number, Start Port (Local) and End Port (Local) boxes.
Enter the IP address of the device that you want to forward ports to into the Local IP Address box. This can be either the IP address of your computer or the IP address of another device on your network.
Click the Submit button when you are done.
Your ports should now be open. It is time to test them.
